Custom Wiimote/Nunchuk Proton Pack

There isn’t much I can say about this except the fact that it is the coolest thing I’ve seen done to a Wiimote ever. I bet you wish you had thought of this uh Nintendo. Seriously if the Ghostbusters game for the Wii came with one of these they would have sold a lot more copies.

LittleBigPlanet – Ghostbusters Teaser Updated Again

As previously reported here, Media Molecule is creating a set of costumes and other Ghostbusters themed goodies for LittleBigPlanet.  Unfortunately mini-proton packs and working traps / new Sackbuster levels haven’t been announced yet, but the company has updated their “teaser” image again, this time announcing that costumes and stickers are on their way.

Here’s hoping this is just the start.

LittleBigPlanet – Ghostbusters Pack revealed in Japan

The “surprise” is out, and the LittleBigPlanet Ghostbusters pack has been revealed in Japan.  Each costume piece will be available for 200 yen, or people can download the whole pack for 600 yen.

The pack looks to contain a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man costume, a ghost costume, ghostbusters costumes and traps, possibly a proton pack as well, and a Slimer mask.

Admittedly, I was hoping for more than just a costume pack from this release, levels and working proton packs ala the Metal Gear Solid DLC would’ve been a nice addition to the game.

The official word on pricing in North America has not yet come from SCEA or Media Molecule, but from the looks of it, if the release is worldwide, the pack will be ready for download on July 16th.
