Halo 3 Mythic Map Pack 2 coming February 2, 2010

When the Mythic Map Pack hit last year for Halo 3, it wasn’t really groundbreaking. I mean, thought everyone had quit playing the game long ago but I guess 3 maps for 800 MS points wasn’t a bad deal and got people playing the game again (just not me or anyone I know). Then on ODST there was the Mythic Map Pack “part 2″ with the Heretic, Citadel, and Longshore maps.

Well now if you haven’t picked up the game, you can get these three maps on Xbox Live for 800 MS points. Because people will actually be playing Halo 3 when there’s Modern Warfare 2 out. We swear. So you can pick this up on February 2nd.

X-box 360 Elite Halo bundle coming to Europe later this month

If you are looking to buy a 360 bundle and don’t want Activsion’s Modern Warfare 2 bundle, then Microsoft might have the bundle for you. Europe will be receiving a Halo bundle which will include a 120GB X-box 360 elite, a controller, Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, and a Halo Reach Multiplayer Beta key.  It will be available later this month at the price point of €280 and is already available for preorder.

Microsoft and Bungie sued over Halo 3

I want money, you want money, we all want money. So what better way to get some money than by sueing a big company? Whether it’s Apple, Microsoft, or Apple, it’s going to happen to a huge company sometime or another. So Randy Nunez and other people are filing a complaint saying that:

“Defendants knew or had reason to know that Halo 3 was being purchased by consumers for use on an Xbox 360 and that the buyers of Halo 3 were relying on Defendants’ skill and judgment to furnish goods suitable for that purpose…. However, Halo 3 does not function with the Xbox 360, and to the contrary, attempted use of Halo 3 consistently causes the Xbox 360 to ‘crash,’ ‘freeze’ or ‘lock up’ while the game is being played.” said Nunez.

“Because Halo 3 is not fit for either its ordinary purpose or for the particular purposes for which it was sold, defendants have breached the statutorily implied warranties of the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act,” the suit continues.

So a game that was made back in 2008 for the Xbox 360, has been running on the 360 for years perfectly now, and now is suddenly making 360’s freeze? Really guys? I mean, talk about too late in the fucking game to even do something like this. Even though Microsoft promotes the fuck out of the Halo series, it’s not going to make any different. I can see nothing better than this guy loosing and people making fun of him for the rest of his life.

You know, those type of people that feel compelled to teabag you after every kill they get (teehee). Rumor: New Xbox 360 Elite Bundle to Come with Halo 3 and Fable 2?

Word has it from ArsTechnica, from a very reliable mole in fact, that Microsoft is going to be shipping out a very attractive looking bundle for their Xbox 360 Elite console. One that comes bundled with hits Halo 3 and Fable 2 for the same $400 that the console alone runs you now. Last month, Microsoft said that they will be phasing out the Elite 360 models for the exclusives and limited editions, but from the sounds of this, the 360 Elite will be going out with a huge-ass bang! The same mole said did accurately suggest that a $400 PS3 would hit America before the 2007 holiday rush, so we’re going to give this rumor the benefit of the doubt and believe it.
