Halo 3: ODST Sales raise up to 1.8 million

The latest and greatest in all of the the Halo 3: ODST sales news is here. It looks like the game has managed to push up to 1.8 million global sales since it’s launch in September. The US is the real Halo whore here sweeping up 1.52 million of the units. Then there’s the UK following with 294,000, and Japan in the dust still hating the 360 and Microsoft as usual with only 33,000 copies of the game being sold.

Will we be playing Halo on the PS3?

Well to be blunt, the answer to that question is yes, people will be playing Halo on the PS3 soon. Since it has been announced that the series will be downloadable via Xbox Live this fall, but also as everybody should know, there’s going to be a Halo movie. Blu-ray.com has announced that the movie will be coming out on Blu-Ray, so that means that technically you will be playing Halo on your PS3.

What this does bring up is the question that since the Xbox 360 isn’t compatible with Blu-Ray, will it be in the near future? Or will the 360 owners be left in the dust?

Bungie may not be done with the Halo series

Bungie has been working on Halo games for a long time. As much Bungie loves their franchise, many developers like the refreshment of starting on a new franchise. For quite some time it has been well known the Bungie has been thinking about moving on and letting a Microsoft development team take over the Halo series after Halo Reach. It came to a surprise though when PR Director Brian Jarred told Videogamer

“I think there’s a lot of work just to get Reach done between now and next fall. At that point anything’s possible. We’re going to keep looking at making the games we want to make. Maybe that’s Halo. Maybe it’s not. We’ll have to wait and see.”

Do you want Bungie to continue making Halo games? Or take a step outside of their usual formula? We will have to wait til closer to Reaches launch date or even after Reaches launch date to see what Bungie may be cooking up next.

We all know that feeling of when you can’t win, or your loosing because you suck at the game. Well, I don’t, but I’m sure there’s a bunch of people out there that do.

To cure that feeling though, some of us play dirty. While some of us cheat, hack, mod, whatever, some of us are more…out there. And that’s why, if you are going to play dirty, do it the right way, because nobody can aim a gun if you’ve bitten their arm off.
