Barack Obama is a huge fan of Modern Warfare 2

When our president, Barack Obama, isn’t jeering for change, reform, and the market (you know sometimes it goes up, and sometimes…it goes down), he’s spending his free time playing Modern Warfare 2, obviously.

Or it could just be some clever person with his gamertag set to Barack Obama, and just playing sound clips in the lobby and in games.

But that would make too much sense.

Modern Warfare 2 still lacking in revenue, only makes $1 billion in sales so far

We thought Modern Warfare 2 was doing pretty well after getting a remarkable $550 million in the first 5 days the game was out. Now Activision thought it worth our time for them to put out a press release saying that the game has broken $1 billion dollars. What a waste of time.

“Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2 has exceeded our expectations and shattered theatrical box office and video game records,” said Robert Kotick, CEO of Activision Blizzard. “There are only a handful of entertainment properties that have ever reached the $1 billion mark, which illustrates the power of the Call of Duty franchise and mass appeal of this game.”

Honestly I don’t want to hear anymore about this game until it sells more money than every video game has made in the history of forever, because frankly, a measly $1 billion isn’t cutting it.

Common Activision, step up.

Glitching Modern Warfare 2 – It just never gets old

Many many glitches have been found and exploited since the release of the worlds most popular game ever Modern Warfare 2. This time it’s an “ice skating” glitch that allows players to move in super-fast motion that gives the feeling of skating on ice, which makes them almost impossible to shoot at.

I mean using glitches to make you feel better about being shitty at the game, and killing people that are trying to have fun makes tons of sense. It’s a lot like using the akimbo shotguns. You’re a douche when you’re doing it.

So more glitches, more glitches making those in favor of dedicated servers showing Infinity Ward what’s up, and I don’t blame them.

Modern Warfare 2 becomes likes the Sims so much it’s getting it’s own expansion pack

It looks like when there were remarks made about how Activision and Bobby Kotick really wanted to make money and they’d start releasing expansion packs for Modern Warfare 2, but it looks like that’s actually going to happen. Want more? It’s coming exclusively to the Xbox 360 in the spring, then the PS3 can get it later or something.

No more has been announced about that yet, but Craig Beilinson, the Director of Marketing for Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices Division did go on record as saying ”2010 will be the biggest year in Xbox’s history,” so we’re hoping that besides Natal there will be some exciting shit coming out.

Weekend Primed: The Awesome of Modern Warfare 2 (So far)

Yes! I am deciding to show my face again with the Weekend Primed series, since I don’t have school tomorrow and I have not had school for a week due to my skipping, I decided that I would put in the time and effort to add a little more to this each day before it was finally shown to the world on….today. What’s the result? A sub-par list of very cool Modern Warfare 2 knife throws, headshots, snipes, and all of that stuff that you’ve probably already seen on Youtube (most of these are knife throws though). Too bad eh?

I posted this video on the site on the first day the game came out, and it still never ceases to amaze me some of the lucky shit people can do in the game. Out of nowhere throwing a knife and killing somebody to win a game. Just awesome.
