Killzone 2: Double XP Weekend!
As posted on the PlayStation Blog, Guerrilla Games has been quite busy this week. With the 3rd DLC map pack “Napalm & Cordite”, the 1.29 patch, and the announcement of the Map Pack Bundle, there’s a lot to like about Killzone 2 right now.

It gets even more exciting this weekend, however, as to celebrate their achievements this week and give back to the fans,Killzone 2: Double XP Weekend is underway!
Starting last night at 17:30 GMT till Monday morning at 09:00, any games created will give extra XP points to let you guys rank up quicker and unlock those Badges and climb up the Leaderboard. A Win will earn you a 2.5 multiplier and a Loss will still grant you the normal multiplier for a Win: 1.5. This applies only to individual points, not Clan Valor and will be available in all regions during this time. We hope all those coming new to Killzone 2 and the veterans alike will take part in this celebration and make sure to keep an eye out for people with [GG] in front of their handles. We’ll be rocking the new DLC this weekend too.

Bestbuy’s newest PS3 Bundle

Last weekend, Best Buy had a “cutesy” bundle of Little Big Planet & Wall-E. This weekend, they are trying to appeal to the hardcore gamer, and appeal they have.
On sale this Sunday, an 80GB PS3 bundled with two of the biggest titles on the system: Metal Gear Solid 4 and Killzone 2, all for the standard PS3 asking price of $400.
As Kotaku mentioned in their report, “It’s like getting a Wii with Twilight Princess and Mario Galaxy, or a 360 with Gears 2 and Halo 3. But perhaps more importantly, it’s also one hell of a saving”
If you don’t own a PS3 yet, this may be the weekend you think about changing that.

For all of the leet’s out there, more Killzone 2 Map Packs to Download
Huge Killzone 2 fan, like every PlayStation 3 owner? Well, you’re in luck then. The latest burst of downloadable content for the game has just been announced, and that comes in the form of a new map pack. You’ll also be surprised if you’ve played the original Killzone game, because the map pack is called Flash and Thunder Pack, and will feature the Beach Head and Southern Hills maps; arguably the two best maps in the original Killzone game. The maps are being completely remade to suit the PS3’s hardware, and they will offer even more ways to play the game everyone is…was, raving about.

Killzone 2 Shuts Resident Evil 5 Producer Down

A comment was made recently about the PlayStation 3’s Sixaxis controller that it’s “not sensitive enough” for FPS aiming. This statement was made by Resident Evil 5 producer Jun Takeuchi. Well, we can see that this statement can easily be proven wrong by anyone that’s played Killzone 2.
Killzone 2 allows you to more precisely control the aim of a sniper rifle in the game tilting the six-axis control a little bit in any direction. Now, it’s not that it’s mandatory that you have to use this function in the game, but it is an option. I think that the sixaxis is much easier to use than the joysticks when playing KillZone 2 because it can be more precise, and it is much quicker to use. Given the previous statement, I think that there is a lot of untapped potential with the Sixaxis controller for the PS3 that could be used for precision that is not be used yet.

Also Hitler plays games, and reacts to Killzone 2
Well, it seems that Hitler is a gamer after all, but we’ve found out that he is, sadly enough, a fanboy.
