Monster Hunter 3 Rendered in 1080p
It looks like a NeoGAF user has taken it upon themselves to render the recently released Monster Hunger III on the Wii in both 1080p with no AA, and 1080p 8xAA. The game looks pretty amazing already, but when rendered in Hi-Def 1080p, you can see where the game, as well as many other games on the Wii, would benefit from such graphical enhancements.

Monster Hunter 3 may support WiiSpeak in North America

Wiispeak launched in 2008, yet there has only been two games that support it. Animal Crossing City Folk and The Conduit. Capcom may give you a reason to dust off WiiSpeak though.”We love the idea of voice chat (WiiSpeak) and we know that it is a minimum for western player” said Monster Hunter 3’s producer Tsujimoto Ryozo. He also went along to say that the online payment hasn’t been set in stone yet so we will have to wait closer to launch to see.

Monster Hunter 3 Commercial
In case you didn’t know – Monster Hunter is an action role-playing game that was developed and published by Capcom on the PS2 back in good ol’ 2004. Well, you can check out a port of Monster Hunter 2 on the PSP I believe, but 3 is really where it’s at. Originally being announced for the PS3, then switched to the Wii, I think it’s safe to say that fans of the series should be happy that it’s coming out at all.
The only thing that bothers me though, is that in the original Monster Hunter game, a lot of the content, while being available in offline mode, is mostly fun and accessable in the online portion. Given Nintendo’s current setup for WiFi for all of it’s consoles, this worries me.
Anyhow, check out the trailer, be excited, because it’s coming here. ![]()
