PS4 to be Released in 2012? (dualshock is still not included)

I will seperate teh n00bs from the elite - I will wear down the skin on your hands - I am...THE PS4!!! (dualshock not included)

Console Releases: PlayStation (1995), PlayStation 2 (2000), PlayStation Portable (2005), PlayStation 3 (2006)
Sales since launch: PS1: 102 million, PS2: 140 million, PSP: 41 million, PS3: 16 million
Predicted next move: 2012

This seems like a pretty good prediction for me. I would have to say either 2011 or early 2012 is when the next PS4 is going to come out. With all of those buttons, there’s still not dualshock in the controller…sadly enough. Click over to read the full article.

Will the PS4 have an optical disk drive?

Internet speeds are so fast today, that I can download a full movie in 2 days….I mean, 3 hours, it makes the fact that PS4 content being downloadable only it would remove the need for an optical disk drive.

Also, since the world’s ablaze with the drive on reducing our ‘carbon footprint’, there would be less packaging for the console, and no packaging for games (obviously), and you would no longer have to get off your fat ass to go to the store and buy the game, you could get it while sitting on the couch.

So what is going to happen? There are obviously a lot of drawbacks, as well as a lot of benefits. I’m still not big into the downloadable games spectrum, I always like to own physical copies of my games, but then again, we would not have to worry about the drive any more. What do you guys think?
