Dementium 2 screenshots

If you have played Dementium or Doom 3 you know how annoying flash lights can be. As seen in the new dementium screens though, its possible to dual wield one handed weapons and a flash light. Hopefulyl there will be a way to get two handed weapons with flashlights on them, but the ability to hold a single handed weapon out is enough for me.

Dementium: The Ward Review

With the recent European release and announcemnt of Dementium 2 I thought I would take a step back and look at this title. Some changes have been made to the PAL version of the title. This review is based off the NTSC version.

     When most people think portable games, especially on Nintendo’s portable platforms, they usually are thought of as light hearted and are usually rated by the ESRB as “E” for everyone or “T” for teens. The developer Renegade Kid decided instead to go for a grittier game then we are use to on the Nintendo DS. Dementium has zombie like enemies, cheap scares and dark corridors that are all so common in many other survival horror titles. With the limited capabilities of the DS it seems unlikely that a game could reach the levels of a console survival horror game. Will Dementium: The Ward keep you awake at night, or will it quickly put you to sleep?

Renegade Kid: Son of the Dragon ‘Dracula game’ cancelled

Some of you may have heard about a secret “Dracula” game that we signed with Gamecock in 2008. It brings us no pleasure to announce that it is no longer in development. The official title of the game is Son of the Dragon. The intellectual property is still owned by Renegade Kid. Should an opportunity to resurrect Son of the Dragon present itself in the future, you will be the first to know.

Man, that really sucks. It was hinted to come to the Wii, although it was never officially announced for any console. It sounded like a cool game, but I guess we’re not going to have the pleasure of playing it.
