Valve Officially Confirms Portal 2; It’s coming to the 360 and PC
Through the cover of GameInformer, which you can see above, Valve has officially confirmed that Portal 2 is real. GameInformer has told us that the game is a “full-fledged, standalone sequel”, and it has “gameplay mechanics, storyline, and some surprising new twists.” Sounds way, way too awesome.
Not only that, but Valve’s own Doug Lombardi told EuroGamer that the game will be hitting the PC and 360, and will be coming this holiday season.
I don’t know about you guys, but since 2007, it’s been a long wait for a Portal 2, and after playing through the game countless times and doing all of the challenge puzzles, I’m ready for more. Do you guys think that a sequel can top the original?

Valve perhaps having an announcement for Mac’s? We’re thinking so…
It’s been much talked about that Valve will be working on the Mac’s, with perhaps their Steam download client, or I’m sure Mac users will just settle with being able to play their games. Well it looks like a Valve developer is dropping some not-so-subtle hints.
The hints happen to come in the form of images which have some of their most popular games and franchises in some very familiar poses and settings. I mean common, “I’m a PC”, Gordan Freeman in his HEV suit colored like a MAC, “I hate different”, and the Heavy with his “Sandvich” in a strikingly similar pose.
Rock Paper Shotgun also recently got an image sent to them that says “Steam for the rest of us”. It looks like it’s all adding up now.

Valve wants to “give PS3 owners the best possible experience”
Remember when we were talking about before how Valve really wanted to develop on the PS3? Well Chet Faliszek they were chatting with CVG and they said that they actually wanted to get better on developing on the PS3.
“We thought that the Orange Box didn’t put our best foot forward with the PS3 community. We don’t want to do something like that again on the PS3. We want to give PS3 owners the best possible experience.
“Some of that will come from us learning and getting better. Before we can go onto the PS3 again, we want to make sure we’re better at developing for it.”
I say less talk, more action Valve. I mean the Orange Box on the PS3 was so bad that I don’t really wanna make fun of it anymore, but you guys gotta show me that you actually wanna do something that’s not shit on the PS3. I’m hopeful, but am not gonna be over-optimistic.

Valve actually thinking about developing on the PS3? Wait! They’re “sure” of it!?
Valve aren’t the best at developing on the PS3, and when we say that, we mean that they don’t develop on the PS3 (we’re not counting the Orange Box because that was absolute shit). They are also notorious for making comments confirming their non-developing on the system. Well now Chet Faliszek at the company has come out with a statement that makes some of us think that they have something up their sleeve for the PS3. If not, then they might at least port a game onto the console.
“Before we do anything on the PS3 we need to be able to support it in the right way,” explains the Left 4 Dead writer. “But we’ll look at it, and I’m sure down the road we’ll do it.”
They’re “sure” they’ll do it. Okay, I want to see it Valve. I really do. I’m actually starting to feel sorry for PS3 owners who haven’t got to play Left 4 Dead yet, please just let the torment stop already…

Spy & Pyro – The best cartoon about anything ever
Team Fortress 2 is one of those games that will really never age. The art style, the fighting, and just the characters really never get old (at least to me). The countless “meet the” videos for all of the characters were great, but beyond that we haven’t got much (we’re not counting the 1 billion+ garry’s mod videos).
Well this video goes above and beyond all fan videos before it. It’s called Spy & Pyro, and was created by Andrew Kepple. The video incorporates all of the Team Fortress 2 characters and references other video games like Super Mario bros, Spyro, Frogger, and every single Valve game. Plus it’s full of marriages, teeth going in bodies, and sexual innuendo’s.
That’s really all I can say without spoiling anything. Check out the video above and see just how awesome it is.
