Young Boy Asks King of Norway For A Name Change: Sonic X

Yes, it’s true! Six year old Christer of Norway wrote to its King, Harald, for an official name change to “Sonic X”. Unfortunately for Christer (though probably fortunately for his parents), the King disapproved of his wish, saying that he was too young to make such a decision, and that he should reapply when he is older (18, to be exact). Bummer!
Sega has in fact heard of this, and is sending Christer some Sonic X swag to make up for it.

WTF: Teenager killed mother, shot father because they took Halo 3 away
Daniel Petric, because his parents would not let him play the violent video game Halo 3, killed his mother, and shot his father.
In September 2007, Daniel, then 16, had sneaked out of his bedroom window to purchase the game at a store against his father’s orders. When he returned home, his parents caught him with the game and took it from him. His father, Mark, a minister at New Life Assembly of God in Wellington, put the game in a lockbox in a closet where he also kept a 9mm handgun, according to prosecutors.
About a month later, on Oct. 20, 2007, Daniel used his father’s key to open the lockbox and remove the gun and the game. The boy shot his parents, killing his mother and gravely wounding his father. As his father lay wounded, Daniel tried to place the gun in his father’s hand.
Daniel fled after his sister and her husband arrived at the house, taking the Halo 3 game with him.
This is freaking terrible, just because you don’t get to play a fucking video game doesn’t mean you can kill your mom, and severely wound your dad. What the fuck is the world coming to today?

Daily WTF: Want Asteroids on your watch?
John Maushammer, electronics genious extrodinare, has a new version of his Pong game watch, one that plays Asteroids and can be controlled via a tilt sensor.
Usually, the computer plays automatically & it keeps time. But, it also has a tilt-sensor so you can aim the ship by moving your wrist around. It’s not done yet, but it will have buttons for firing and engine-thrust. Maybe mind control will be next
Somebody should start a petition for some company to mass produce this thing now!

Daily WTF: Who really wants to show off their love for DOS?
Seriously? What would possess Microsoft to do this? Microsoft has decided to create branded clothing line as a part of their new advertising campaign.
The T-Shirts have that urban feel, and sport the DOS lettering. These take you back to the early years of Microsoft…like anybody even remembers, or wants to remember that. Maybe it’s just me, but I think this idea is just plain stupid.
